2020 Budget

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors adopts an annual budget to guide spending over the course of the year.  Middletown Township’s budget document received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the first time in 2019, making it among less than 1% of local governments in Pennsylvania with the distinction.  Middletown Township earned this award for a second time in 2020.  Because of its strong financial management, Middletown Township earned a triple-A bond rating from Moody’s in 2019.

The 2021 Budget proposes a balanced General Fund of $22.3 million in revenues and expenditures, and $6.8 million in proposed capital improvement projects.

**EDITOR'S NOTE: The 2021 Preliminary Budget is to include the signalization of Swift Road at Woodbourne Road in the Capital Improvement Plan.  Though not reflected in this draft, the 2021 Final Budget document posted in December will reflect this change.**
