Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3

Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Land Developments

According to the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code (MPC), land developments include the improvement or construction of residential and non-residential buildings and the subdivision of parcels.

The Middletown Township Planning Commission reviews all land development projects before the projects come before the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors.

Below is a list of land development projects under review in Middletown Township.  Residents have the opportunity to comment on land development projects when they are on the agendas of the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors.  Projects are removed from this list once the Board of Supervisors completes a final review.

 

Construction of an age qualified community consisting of 17 single-family homes, 142 carriage homes, a club house, pool and other amenities on a 53.7 acre site.
