Proposed Ordinances

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors establishes ordinances to enact legislation within the Township.  Ordinances can range from regulations on the construction and maintenance of property to policing.  Collectively, our ordinances establish a quality of life for residents and a structure for our government.  Once enacted by the Board of Supervisors, ordinances are cataloged into the Middletown Township Code of Ordinances.

As required by the Pennsylvania Second-Class Township Code, all ordinances considered by the Board of Supervisors are advertised for public review and feedback.  Below is a list of proposed and enacted ordinances.

The proposed ordinance primarily impacts the intersection of Parkview Avenue and Buttonwood Avenue.  This ordinance would turn this intersection from a one-way stop to an all-way stop.  Additionally, this ordinance memorializes several existing stop signs in Langhorne Gables that are not properly reflected in the Township's ordinances.  The only new stop signs proposed in this ordinance are at the intersection of Parkview Avenue and Buttonwood Avenue.

Consideration of enacting Ordinance #21-09 has been continued to the February 22, 2022, meeting of the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors.
