The Middletown Township Finance Department is seeking a person for the part-time Finance Clerk who is looking to work in an active, fast-paced organization with the opportunity to grow.
Under the direction of the Accountant, this position will be responsible for handling all public inquiries at the lobby window, in-person and by telephone. Performs data entry and office support work. Assists in the review, preparation, distribution, and processing of invoices.
This position will be approximately 20 hours per week.
One (1) year of general office and/or accounts receivable experience; experience in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; good organizational, administrative, and computer skills; ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment; ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a position in this class.
