At its August 10 meeting, the Board of Supervisors adopted Middletown Township’s Communications Plan, establishing a strategic framework to strengthen transparency, accessibility, consistency, and community engagement. Christopher Hoffman was officially sworn in as Middletown Township Manager at the August 10 Board of Supervisors Meeting. Mr. Hoffman will begin his first official day with the Township on August 17. Learn more about Middletown Township’s new Township Manager.

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors approved an employment agreement with Christopher Hoffmann, who is expected to be formally appointed Township Manager on August 10. He will begin serving the Township in August 2026.

Middletown Township is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a streamlined organizational and operational assessment of the Township’s Public Works Department. Proposals are due Monday, August 3, 2026.
