Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement is responsible for the enforcement of all adopted Township Codes and Ordinances, specifically the Housing and Zoning Ordinances and property maintenance requirements. Nuisance violations, illegal renting of rooms, the abandonment of vehicles, new tenant rental inspections, and unsafe building conditions are investigated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
