Middletown Township is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a streamlined organizational and operational assessment of the Township’s Public Works Department. Proposals are due Monday, August 3, 2026.

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors approved an employment agreement with Christopher Hoffmann, who is expected to be formally appointed Township Manager on August 10. He will begin serving the Township in August 2026.

With high temperatures expected, Middletown Township has opened cooling centers to provide residents with a safe, air-conditioned place to stay cool. View locations and hours.

Middletown Township residents can responsibly dispose of old tires at the Department of Public Works Used Tire Collection Event on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Proof of residency is required.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, all trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will be delayed by one day next week. Residents are encouraged to place materials curbside on their adjusted collection day.
