Single Use Plastic Education

The discussion will focus on single use plastics and how they impact our environment. It will highlight different ways that communities have reduced their reliance on single use plastic, and how businesses have learned to reduce plastic waste. Presenters: Faran Savitz oversees PennEnvironment's Zero Waste Program, working to reduce plastic waste in PA. The founder of ECHO Systems, Alisa Sharagorodsky, has provided environmental sustainability coordination and consulting for various companies throughout the Tri-State area.
