Beginning January 6th, Waste Management began to implement a new trash collection schedule featuring once-a-week collection in Middletown Township. Trash, recycling, and yard waste will all be picked up on the same day, with bulk waste collected during the third week of each month on your collection day.  Click here to learn more

Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Mark Antozzeski Sworn in as New Chief of Fire and Emergency Services

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors swore in Mark Antozzeski as the new Chief of Fire and Emergency Services in front of a crowded room of representatives from all four volunteer fire companies that serve the community. With over 40 years of experience in emergency services, including over 19 years as Fire Chief in Hamilton Township Fire District 9 in Hamilton, NJ, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our community.

Mark’s impressive career in emergency services began with his service in the United States Air Force, where he worked as a firefighter, fire inspector, crew chief and driver. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including as a volunteer firefighter, career firefighter, and Office of Emergency Management (OEM) instructor for the New Jersey State Police.

Mark’s commitment to professional development is evident in his academic accomplishments, including a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from the University of Maryland and a Master’s from Columbia Southern University. He also attended the Executive Fire Officer Program through the National Fire Academy and holds numerous certifications.

In addition to his distinguished career, Mark is an experienced fire service instructor and has taught at the Mercer County Fire Academy for many years. Furthermore, he is passionate about his work and committed to protecting people in his community. “We are thrilled to welcome Mark Antozzeski as our new Fire Chief,” said Chairperson Anna Payne, “His extensive experience, dedication, and passion for public safety will be invaluable to Middletown Township. We are confident that he will lead with the highest level of professionalism and ensure the safety of our residents and businesses.”
