Facilities & Services

Middletown Township Municipal Center

The Municipal Center is closed indefinitely to the public.  Emergency personnel are actively working out of the building.  Non-emergency personnel are working remotely to ensure continuity of services to the public.  All public and community meetings will be cancelled indefinitely until the facility reopens or alternative arrangements can be made.

Board of Supervisors Meetings

The Township is seeking out solutions to host Board of Supervisors meetings digitally.  Citizen engagement and resident input remains a top priority in our decision-making process. Please stay tuned for how you can engage with us in our upcoming meetings.

Township Parks

Middletown Township park facilities are open, but any and all group recreation is prohibited until further notice.  Residents looking to use parks are advised to practice social distancing and avoid contact with others.  All high-touch amenities including playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, and the Middletown Skatepark are closed until further notice.  The Township may close these facilities as a last resort if social distancing measures are not followed.

Core Creek Park

Core Creek Park in Langhorne is maintained by Bucks County.  Core Creek Park is open with limited amenities and enforced social distancing measures.

Trash Collection

As of May 14, all trash collection with Waste Management has resumed normal operations.  This is subject to change as the COVID-19 emergency continues to evolve.  If you experience an issue with your trash and recycling collection, please call the Waste Management customer service line at 1-800-255-8479.  If you are unable to reach someone, please report your issue by email to Lisa for assistance

Contacting our Staff

The Township Manager and the Administration team are working remotely to coordinate support services to other departments and the community.  Information about filing a Right-To-Know request can be found here.  To contact a member of our Administration staff, please visit the Administration page.

Building & Zoning

The Building and Zoning Department is working remotely and with limited staff on-site.  Permits and fees are being processed by regular mail.  Forms and Documents can be found online.  Receiving a permit does not authorize a contractor to begin work.  As of now, the Township is not performing any regular inspections.  Exceptions can be arranged for Life Sustaining Business construction or contractors that have a waiver to be operating as Non-Life Sustaining Business, approved from the Governor's Office.  These inspections will only be for unoccupied structures or outdoor inspections.  No occupied structures will be inspected.  To contact a member of our Building & Zoning staff, please visit the Building & Zoning page.

The Finance Department is still accepting payment and processing checks as normal.  To contact a member of our Finance staff, please visit the Finance page.

Fire & Emergency Management

The Fire & Emergency Management Department is busy leading the response to COVID-19 in Middletown Township.  Inspections will be limited throughout the duration of the emergency.  To contact a member of our Fire & Emergency Management staff, please visit the Fire & Emergency Management page.

Parks & Recreation

Our Parks & Recreation Department is focusing on building up our new digital resource center and scheduling classes.  The Middletown Township Remote Rec program brings a variety of free resources to families looking to occupy time and stay active during this period of social distancing.  If you have ideas or suggestions about new programs we can add, please let us know.  We will be making decisions about upcoming events and programming on a rolling basis.  To contact a member of our Parks & Recreation staff, please visit the Parks & Recreation page.

Police Department

The Middletown Township Police Department is working around the clock to keep the community safe as always.  Extensive cleaning measures are being taken to protect the health and well-being of our police officers.  In case of emergency, please dial 911.  For assistance with a non-emergency police matter, please dial the Police Department's non-emergency phone number at (215) 949-1000.  Additional information can be found on the Police Department page.

Public Works

The Department of Public Works is continuing to work on maintenance projects and assisting emergency responders as needed.  We are deploying a limited, rotating staff to protect the health and safety of our employees.  To contact a member of the Department of Public Works, please visit the Department of Public Works page.
