PennDOT to Repair Potholes on State Roads in Middletown Township and Surrounding Areas

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that maintenance crews will be repairing potholes next week on multiple state highways throughout the five-county Philadelphia region, including several roadways in and around Middletown Township.

Due to this winter’s frequent freeze-thaw cycles, the region has experienced a significant increase in potholes. When crews are not actively engaged in winter storm operations, PennDOT is prioritizing pothole patching efforts to address deteriorated pavement conditions as quickly as possible.

Middletown Township Area Roads Scheduled for Repairs

Weather permitting, motorists may encounter periodic lane closures and slowdowns at the following locations:

  • New Falls Road (Bristol and Middletown townships)

  • Oxford Valley Road (Bristol and Middletown townships)

  • Woodbourne Road (Middletown Township)

Drivers are advised to use caution in work zones, reduce speeds, and avoid distracted driving to ensure the safety of both motorists and road crews.

How to Report a Pothole

PennDOT encourages residents to report potholes on state-owned roads through the following methods:

Since January 1, PennDOT District 6 has received nearly 900 pothole-related concerns across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
