Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3

Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Are you ready to learn how to protect your home and family from fire while having fun? 

The Middletown Township Fire and Emergency Services Department invites you to the Fire Prevention Expo:  
•    Date- Saturday, October 11, 2025 
•    Time- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 
•    Location- Restaurant Depot Parking Lot 
•    FREE to attend – no tickets required!  

The Fire Prevention Expo is part of Fire Prevention Month here in Middletown. The goal of Fire Prevention Month is to raise fire safety awareness and help ensure your home and family are protected from the damage of fire. 

The Middletown Fire and Emergency Services Department will be joined by the four volunteer fire companies that serve Middletown Township: Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, Parkland Fire Company, Penndel Fire Company, and William Penn Fire Company. Residents are invited to enjoy live fire demonstrations, meet our police, EMS, and Bucks County Special Operations teams, and check out fun kids’ activities, including visits from Marshall from Paw Patrol and other characters! Families can explore a fire truck display, see the Temple Med Flight Helicopter up close, and stop by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office booth for popular child IDs. Plus, grab a bite from local food trucks and shop from community vendors.
