Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3

Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Traffic Update: Construction Continues on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction activities will continue next week on Langhorne-Yardley Road and Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

Scheduled Lane Closures

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Langhorne-Yardley Road — Between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road

    • Dates: Monday, November 10 through Monday, December 1

    • Times: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (weekdays only)

    • Details: Periodic lane closures with flagging.

  • Woodbourne Road — Between Kilburn Road and the entrance to Core Creek Park

    • Dates: Monday, November 10 through Monday, December 1

    • Times: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (weekdays only)

    • Details: Periodic lane closures with flagging.

Drivers should plan for possible delays and allow extra travel time when driving through these areas. All activities are weather dependent.
