As an Excessive Heat Warning enters our area, Middletown Township is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents. Two Township facilities will be available to residents in need in the coming days:
The Middletown Senior Center, located at 2142 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, will be on the following dates and times:
- Saturday, June 21 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Sunday, June 22 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Monday, June 23 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Tuesday, June 24 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Wednesday, June 25 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The Middletown Township Municipal Center, located at 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne, PA 19047, will be on the following dates and times:
- Monday, June 23 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Tuesday, June 24 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Wednesday, June 25 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Residents who need relief from the heat are encouraged to visit the cooling center during these hours. The facility will offer air-conditioned space and seating to help residents stay cool and comfortable.
Please remember:
- Bring water and any personal items you may need.
- The Cooling Center is available for anyone in the community.
- In the event of an emergency, always call 911 immediately.
Middletown Township urges everyone to take heat warnings seriously. Stay hydrated, check on neighbors, and limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
