Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Christmas Tree Pickup & Yard Waste

Beginning in January 2025, yard waste and Christmas tree collection will take place on your regular trash day. Christmas trees can be placed at the curb for collection on your trash day throughout the month of January. The last day for Christmas tree collection is the week of January 27, 2025. Please ensure trees are not placed in bags or boxes and are free of lights and decorations. Yard waste collection will pause in February and March but will resume on your regular collection day in April.
