Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

National Night Out

Join us on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 5:30 PM for National Night Out at the Middletown Township Municipal Center!

National Night Out is our annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help make Middletown a safe and caring place to live. The Middletown Township Police Department will host a block party at the Municipal center filled with activities for all ages, giving families and neighbors the opportunity to meet our officers and staff, tour our vehicles and building, and participate in live demonstrations.

“National Night Out is a great opportunity for police to engage with the community,” said Chairperson Mike Ksiazek. “It’s a fun night that brings back a true sense of community.”

Come out for:
⭐ Food trucks
⭐ Local crafters and businesses
⭐ K9 and motorcycle demos
⭐ Fun games and raffles
⭐ Police and EMT meet-and-greet
⭐ Music, local charity, and more!

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, grab a bite from one of our food trucks and shop small from our local vendors. We can’t wait to see you there!
