Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Langhorne Gables Stormwater Improvement Project – Public Open House

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors has awarded a contract to Foresite Concepts to construct stormwater improvements in the heart of the Langhorne Gables neighborhood. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2025 and is expected to continue through December 2025.

To share project details and answer questions, the Township will host an informational open-house meeting:

The meeting is open to all interested residents, especially those living near the planned construction area. Township staff and project representatives will be available to discuss the improvements, review project maps, and address any concerns.

If you are unable to attend but have questions, please contact the Township for more information. Once construction begins, residents are reminded to obey all posted signage and follow the direction of workers to ensure safety.
