Recognizing Rare Disease Day 2024

Today is Rare Disease Day! Today we gather to give Pennsylvania’s rare disease patients suffering from one of more than 7,000 known rare diseases a voice. It is a time to advocate for the more than 300 million people who live with rare diseases worldwide.

Middletown Township Supervisor Anna Payne, who lives with cystic fibrosis, also serves as Vice-Chairperson on the PA Rare Disease Advisory Council. Middletown Township is a proud supporter of Rare Disease Day.
