Middletown Township Police Department Hiring Community Service Officer

The Middletown Township Police Department is hiring a Community Service Officer. 

Working under the direct supervision and direction of a patrol sergeant, OIC, or lieutenant, a CSO 
will handle minor crime reports that will not require further investigation by a sworn police 
officer, process prisoners (including fingerprinting and Live Scan operation), process walk-in 
requests for fingerprinting services, answer incoming telephone calls to the police department, 
assist the working police and/or detective squad with any CSO duty-related requests for service, 
and perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief of Police or his designee.
