Memorial Day Hours and Trash Schedule

The Middletown Township Municipal Building will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Waste Management trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will be delayed by one day the week of May 25, 2026.

Learn More About the US 1 Improvement Project

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is developing plans for phase three (RC-3) of its improvements to the US-1 "Superhighway": in Middletown Township. Phase 1 in Bensalem Township is nearly complete, and Phase 2 in Bensalem and Middletown Township surrounding the Neshaminy Creek is currently underway.

Phase 3 of this improvement project would span from US-1 near Neshaminy High School to the SR-413 exit near Langhorne and Langhorne Manor Boroughs. PennDOT's US1Bucks website will be updated as the project evolves.  Currently, construction for Phase 3 is expected to begin in 2026.
