The Middletown Township Department of Building & Zoning is seeking a person who is looking to work in an active, fast-paced organization with the opportunity to grow to fill the full-time Customer Support Assistant role.
This position will be responsible for general customer service support in the Department of Building and Zoning. Primary function will be participating in the administration of the building permit process including:
- intake and processing of permits
- assisting residents, contractors and developers in completing documents
- scheduling inspections
- generating and sending general notices, and letters to schedule, reschedule and confirm inspections
- Input/permit applications into appropriate software
Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative or secretarial experience.
This position is included in the Teamsters Local 107 Bargaining Unit with a starting pay of $18.88/hour.
