Snow Emergency Alert

Middletown Township has declared a Snow Emergency effective Sunday, February 22 at 12:00 p.m. through Monday, February 23 at 12:00 p.m.

During the Snow Emergency, residents are reminded that vehicles must be removed from Township streets to allow snow plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely. Travel is strongly discouraged unless absolutely necessary.

Thank you for your cooperation as our crews work to keep Middletown Township safe and moving throughout the winter storm. Please continue to monitor Township communication channels for updates and stay safe.

FEMA Disaster Aid Available Following Hurricane Ida

On Wednesday, September 1st, the remnants of Hurricane Ida swept through our area and left a path of destruction including fallen trees, washed out roads, and high flood waters.

Federal disaster assistance is now available to eligible individuals and families whose homes, vehicles or personal property were damaged by the remnants of Hurricane Ida.  The application period for the federal Individual Assistance programs opened Friday, September 10th and will remain open for 60 days, until November 9th, following the declaration. 

Disaster assitance funds can be sent directly to your bank account by providing your account information in your application. Those eligible for aid often receive assistance within a few days of applying. 

When registering for assistance you will need to have the following available:

  • Your address with zip code
  • Directions to your property
  • Condition of your damaged home
  • Insurance information, if available
  • Social security number
  • Phone number
  • Address where you can get mail
