Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Township Earns Third GFOA Budget Award

Middletown Township was awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the third time with its 2021 Budget. Our budget features analysis and explanation, providing information to officials and residents about how resources are being allocated.
The 2022 Budget will be prepared in accordance with GFOA's criteria and will be submitted upon final adoption by the Board of Supervisors in December.
