Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

No Impact to Christmas, New Years Trash Collection

Since both holidays fall on Saturdays this year, there will be no impact to the trash schedule this Christmas Day or New Years Day. The next holiday impacting trash collection is Memorial Day.
