On November 16, the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors proclaimed November 28, 2020, Small Business Saturday, encouraging the community to shop at local businesses. Local businesses are vital to the local and national economy, employing nearly half of all employees working in the private sector. This proclamation can be viewed here.

“Buying local supports your friends, neighbors, and community,” said Middletown Township Supervisor Anna Payne. “When you buy from a local business, your neighbor’s kids can go to camp, your friend has a job, and your money gets reinvested in the community.
