New Small Business Grant Program

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has a $225 million grant program for small businesses impacted by COVID-19 closures.  The COVID-19 Relief Statewide Small Business Assistance program provides businesses with grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.  This program is an allocation of CARES Act funding received by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This grant program has three subcategories:

  • Main Street Business Revitalization Program: $100 million
  • Historically Disadvantaged Business Revitalization Program: $100 million
  • Loan payment deferment and loss reserve: $25 million
