Thanksgiving Holiday Office & Trash Schedule

Township offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday.  In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

There will be no trash collection on Thursday, November 26, 2020, in observance of Thanksgiving.  For residents whose trash is regularly collected on Thursdays, trash will be collected on your next scheduled collection day, Monday, November 30th.  Double trash, up to 20 containers, may be put out for collection on Monday, November 30th. Collection on any other day will not be interrupted. 

Beginning Monday, November 30, the Middletown Township Municipal Center will be open by appointment only.  Please use the following numbers and links to schedule an appointment.

New Small Business Grant Program

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has a $225 million grant program for small businesses impacted by COVID-19 closures.  The COVID-19 Relief Statewide Small Business Assistance program provides businesses with grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.  This program is an allocation of CARES Act funding received by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This grant program has three subcategories:

  • Main Street Business Revitalization Program: $100 million
  • Historically Disadvantaged Business Revitalization Program: $100 million
  • Loan payment deferment and loss reserve: $25 million
