Memorial Day Hours and Trash Schedule

The Middletown Township Municipal Building will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Waste Management trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will be delayed by one day the week of May 25, 2026.

PECO Outage Update

Damage caused by Hurrican Isaias led to over 425,000 PECO customers to lose power, including several thousand in Middletown Township.  PECO reported Tuesday, August 4, 2020, as one of their top-10 most widespread outages in history.  Within 24 hours, power was restored to 75% of affected PECO customers.

As of Thursday, August 6, 2020, approximately 600 customers in Middletown Township are without power.  PECO is continuously updating their outage map and reports that customers can expect to have power restored by the weekend.
