The LED Streetlight Upgrade Program continues its construction phase this week as crews will begin installing new lighting fixtures in the nearly 2,000 cobrahead-style streetlights throughout the Township. Township staff began installing the LED fixtures in 1,000 decorative colonial-style lights in July, and many residents will have already seen the improved lighting in parts of the Township.

The new LED lights will provide a higher quality, more energy efficient light that the fixtures they replace. Residents will enjoy better lighting along roadways while the Township reduces its energy consumption. Additional information on the Streetlight Upgrade Program is available in the July 2017 E-News.
